Yoga Intensive:

A Women’s Yoga Psychotherapy Group

In this evocative 8 week yoga-based therapy group run specifically for women, we will use our yoga practice as a framework for personal development and deep transformation.  We’ll dive into our experience using a physical, psychological and spiritual lens. Each week we’ll utilize the body-mind as our guide in gaining insight into our lives. This includes patterns and origins of behavior, emotions, beliefs, sexuality, relationships, communication and our intention and heartfelt purpose for our lives.  There is power in doing this work in a group setting, that of both witnessing and being witnessed in the safety of a kula, or community.  It cultivates inclusion and belonging upon which we can ultimately rest in the universality of our human experience.  Each weekly three hour group includes a 90 minute yoga practice followed by 90 minutes of group process, the sharing of our personal experiences of what is being evoked.

In the course of this group, you will:

·      Explore deeply the physical, energetic and mental/emotional body
·      Discover how over- and under active chakras play out in your daily life
·      Identify your individual holding patterns, blocks and world-view
·      Learn mantra, mudra and asana tapping into your specific strengths & challenges and how this practice contributes to greater freedom and aliveness in your body, mind and spirit
·      Leave with tools for change and specific action steps for moving forward

*Group currently on hold. Place and time to be announced.
